Founded by award-winning chef Daniel Schreiber, his wife Stephanie, and founding Executive Chef Jeffrey Hanlon, Alchmy is a design-forward hospitality group that redefines what dining can be: immersive, mobile, emotionally resonant, and executed with world-class precision.
We operate at the intersection of fine dining and experience design, crafting culinary moments that are as thoughtful as they are unforgettable.
It starts at the source, with farmers who care for their soil, with producers who raise animals responsibly, and with purveyors who value integrity as much as rarity. In our kitchen, that care continues in every component, from the slow build of a sauce to the final placement of a garnish.
And throughout our service, it’s felt in the smallest, often unseen details: the timing of a refill, the tone of a welcome, the quiet confidence of a team that is fully present. This is what luxury means to us—not excess, but attention. Not trend, but care.
Chef Daniel brings over two decades of experience in Michelin-starred kitchens in New York and Chicago, where he trained under culinary icons like Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Grant Achatz. His refined technique, creative discipline, and visionary approach shaped the foundation of Alchmy’s culinary identity. In 2025, he received international recognition with the prestigious “Chef of the Future” award.
Stephanie is the connective thread between vision and experience. She leads with warmth, intuition, and a deep understanding of both people and process. From the first conversation to the final moment of service, she guides each client relationship with care and clarity, building trust, anticipating needs, and ensuring every experience unfolds with intention.
Executive Chef Jeffrey Hanlon contributes a parallel depth of experience in high-end restaurants and large-scale culinary operations. His leadership and intuition in both food and execution allow Alchmy to scale complex events while maintaining the precision and artistry of a fine dining kitchen.
Executive Sous Chef Malick Thioubou brings intuitive artistry and a distinct culinary perspective to Alchmy’s kitchen. With over two decades of experience spanning diverse cuisines, he approaches each menu with thoughtful creativity and quiet strength. His dedication to precision ensures every dish reflects Alchmy’s commitment to meaningful hospitality.
As Alchmy’s Vice President of Guest Experience & Service, Chris James leads both the beverage program and the front-of-house service culture. A renowned mixologist and sommelier, he designs tailored cocktail and wine experiences that complement Alchmy’s Michelin-level cuisine, while mentoring the service team to deliver warm, polished hospitality at every event.
Chris believes every pour should tell a story, transforming a simple drink into a memorable moment. His role ensures that from the first welcome cocktail to the final toast, Alchmy’s service feels personal, refined, and truly crafted for the moment
Together, this team has built Alchmy into a hospitality house that serves tastemakers, global brands, and discerning private clients.
From intimate dinners and pop-ups to multi-day brand activations and 500-guest galas, every experience we create is custom-designed to reflect the client’s vision, space, and story.
